Land Rover Defender 300 TDIs are becoming very difficult to find with sensible mileage, in standard form and with good mechanical history. This Defender ticks all 3 boxes. So we jumped at the chance to purchase this very genuine and authentic Defender 90 300 TDI from its owner who was in the process of selling his private estate. The family nicknamed the Defender 'Morris' and in their 11 years of ownership Morris was a trusted friend carrying out light duties on the estate such as collecting bales of hay and feed, travelling to and from the farmers market and fun rides around the estate with the grandchildren in tow.

Morris had his annual service and MOT every year without fail with a local Land Rover specialist, with anything that needed doing, done. Mechanically, this Defender is in very good shape. A new Cambelt and turbo in 2019 are examples of this no expense spared approach to ensuring Morris is in the best possible condition.

Cosmetically Morris has a few battle scars which are featured in the photographs. Clearly, Morris has been used for what it was designed to do. The jewel in this Defender is the 300 TDI engine which performs as
amazingly well and has the characteristic Defender engine roar on acceleration, something the later Puma engined models can't match. A new turbo ensures progress is strong, Further, we have given the Defender a fresh oil and filter service, replaced the rocker cover gasket, breather and pipes. The steel wheels have been refurbished too. The BF Goodrich tyres provide good progress on the road and excellent traction off road.
